Eleanor ”Ellie” Lambert, 85, of Harmony Township, most recently of St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday August 15,2021, after a lengthy and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Born January 31, 1936, Mountain Top, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Frances Kaminski Kosloski. Ellie relocated to Beaver County in 1954 with her husband Daniel Buccilli with whom she had four children. In 1977 she married Lawrence Lambert and acquired two stepchildren Lynn Rutter (Howard) of Rochester Township and Roy Lambert (Chavee) of Spotsylvania, Va. Ellie loved her children, grandchildren, music, dancing, her Shelties, travel, baking, cooking, long walks, her camp in Tidioute with Larry, and proclaimed to be a mountain girl at heart, as well as a “Proud Pollock”. Ellie was beautiful and movie star glamorous turning many heads in her day. She is best known for being a strong and caring advocate for all she served at D.T. Watson for 30 years and then through Masonic Village and private duty as a nursing aide. She also cared compassionately for her mother with Alzheimer’s for many years. Our Mom was a strong lady guided by the Lord, who loved the Lord, Christian Mother’s, as well as, her church, most recently Baden United Methodist before her illness. Her husband Larry passed away in June 2019. She is survived by her four children, Dennis Buccilli (Yuehying) of Orange, Conn., Donna Wargo (Dave) of Independence Township, Dana Bucci (Keith) of Economy and Diane Dishler (Cliff) of Economy. Ellie had 10 grandchildren and two step granddaughters, Jeff, Sheila, Rachel, Emily, , Nolan, Lee, Abby, Wyatt, Callie, Roberta, Kristin and Kelly , 11 great grandchildren, one sister, Marian Stout, York, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Brett Wargo. Friends will be received Tuesday August 17, 2021 from 6:00pm- 8:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES,INC.,1099 Maplewood Ave.,Ambridge. A service will be held Wednesday August 18, 2021 at 10:00am in the funeral home, with Rev James Young, officiating. Entombment will follow Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. The family would like to thank her nurse Diane, aides MaryAnn, Rachel, Hayden, and Joanne of St. John’s. Contributions may be made in honor of Eleanor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
