Elaine Bohinsky, age 81, passed peacefully into her eternal rest on March 5, 2025, at Highland Hills Post Acute in Pittsburgh. Born in Ambridge on August 29, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Agnes Urick Bohinsky of Ambridge. Elaine was a beautiful, humble woman with a cheerful smile who enjoyed flowers, playing cards, watching TV, and praying the rosary for family and friends. Her favorite colors were black and pink. She was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish/Good Samaritan Church. Elaine is survived by her beloved brother Joseph (Barbara) Bohinsky, nephew Brian (Melinda) Bohinsky and niece Erin (Wyatt) Martin. She is also survived by her dearest grandnephew Jonathan (Tessa) Bohinsky and grandnieces Amy (fiancé Shane Rumbaugh) Bohinsky, Julie Bohinsky and Megan Martin as well as several loving cousins and friends, especially Mary Elaine Gagliardi, Rose Marie Volpe and Rose Bentz. Thanks to cousin Karen Longo for her assistance in Elaine’s final days. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Luke the Evangelist Parish/Good Samaritan Church in Ambridge on May 19, 2025, at 10:30 am. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church at 9:30 am .If desired, memorial donations may be made to Good Samaritan Church or a charity of your choice. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
