Dorothy Scalese

Dorothy Scalese, 91, of Ambridge, died Thursday January 5, 2023, Concordia at Villa St. Joseph. Born October 5, 1931, Ambridge, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Philomena Stalzo Scalese. She worked at United Steel Workers CIO office, was a member of St Luke the Evangelist/ Good Samaritan Church, former Christ The King Catholic Church and was a longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Surviving are two sisters, Eleanor and Lena Scalese, Baden, special niece, Rachel Sposaro, Winter Park, Florida, and many other nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday January 11, 2023 at 10:00am, Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery. Family would like to thank the  staff at Villa St. Joseph for the care they gave Dorothy. BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, is in charge of arrangements.
