Donald H. Thompson

Donald H. Thompson, 89, of Baden, died Thursday November 2, 2023, Beaver Valley Nursing & Rehab. Born December 9, 1933, Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Herbert and Grace Medlin Thompson. He was retired from Duquesne Light, Haser Trucking and Carl Strutz & Company. He loved motorcycles, sailing and liked to draw cartoons of fellow co-workers and funny incidents that occurred at work. He liked to target practice , was self-taught on the computer and loved all his cats. Surviving are his wife, Loretta Slavik Thompson, one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Linda Thompson, Butler, three daughters, Donna Thompson, Slippery Rock, Lynda Thompson and Michelle Ryder, both of North Carolina and also grandchildren and cousins. Friends will be received Sunday November 5, 2023 from 1-5, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Additional viewing will be held on Monday November 6, 2023 from 9:00am until time of service at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
