Dennis Biega Obituary

Dennis A. Biega, 76, of Economy Boro, died Monday April 24, 2023, PAM Health. Born September 17, 1946, Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Albert and Lena Nardone Biega. He was retired from West View Water Authority with 38 years of service. He was a US Air Force veteran during the Vietnam Era, member of Ambridge Eagles, he served on the Economy Boro Municipal Board, past president of the AFLCIO. Dennis enjoyed coaching his son at Economy Youth Baseball and the Ambridge Little Bridgers Football. His favorite pastime was cooking, he was also an avid bowler and most recently, he loved going to all his grandchildren’s traveling sports. Surviving are his wife, Angeline Colas Biega, one son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Susan Biega, Cleveland, Ohio, one daughter and son-in-law, Sonya and Steve Antolic, Economy Boro, four grandchildren, Stevie, Abbey, Shannon and Nicholas, one brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Barb Biega, Kentucky, two sisters, Sheila Mardahl, Reading, Pa., Kathy Poncer, Ellwood City. Friends will be received Saturday May 6, 2023 from 1:00pm until time of Blessing Service at 3:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. In lieu of flowers, contribution can be made to the McGuire Home, 2119 Mercer Rd., New Brighton, Pa.,15066, in Dennis' memory.
