David A. (Chink) DeSalle

David Allen DeSalle, 62, was called home to the Lord on Sunday, July 30th, 2023, with his daughter at his bedside. David was born in Aliquippa, son of the late David and Janet (Strella) DeSalle. He was an outgoing, vibrant man who was a member of several social clubs, including the Sokol and WBU. David was the proudest "Pap" to his three beautiful grandsons, Liam (8), Levi (5) and Luca B. (21 months) Vanyo. David himself was one of three boys - just like his grandsons. He adored them and always sought the opportunity to brag about them! David never missed one of their baseball or soccer games. Always enjoying youth sports, David coached both softball and basketball when his daughter was younger. David was a wholeheartedly loved father and grandfather and will be terribly missed. He is survived by his one and only daughter, Ashley (Eric) Vanyo, of Ambridge and his brothers, Ronald and Richard DeSalle and beloved family and friends. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Tamara (Kanouff) Desalle. David was a member of Good Samaritan Parish. Friends will be received Friday August 4, 2023 2pm-4pm & 6pm-8pm at the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 1099 Maplewood Ave. , Ambridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday August 5,2023 at 10:00am. Internment will follow at Good Samaritan Cemetery.
