Charles Garis Obituary

Charles Garis, 78, of Ambridge, died Thursday September 17, 2026, at home. Born September 29,1947, Johnstown, he was the son of Dorothy Rylke Garis, Moon Twp., and the late Charles Garis. He was retired from PA Welfare Office, Pittsburgh and a member of Grace Bible Church, Portersville. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife Lucinda Garis. Surviving is one step-son & daughter-in-law- Eric and Heather Brutout, two step-daughters, Christine (Lee Warner) Hradil, Kathy James two brothers, Doug Garis, Tom Garis and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, three nephews and one niece. There will be no viewing. BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, is in charge of arrangements.
