Bessie Jean (Reed) Boyd

Bessie Jean Boyd, 95, of Baden, died Tuesday September 15, 2026, Concordia at Villa St Joseph. Born May 1, 1931, Fenelton, Pa., she was the daughter of the James and Sara Nicholas Reed. She was a member of Zion First Evangelical Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Boyd, one son, Thomas R. Boyd, one brother, James Reed, three sisters, Esther Miller, Ruth Holmes, her twin, Betty Jane Stephens and her son-in-law, Michael Josapak. Surviving is one son and daughter-in-law, James and Ann Boyd, Florida, one daughter, Karen Josapak, Baden, daughter-in-law, Sue Boyd, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday September 18, 2026 from 3:00pm-7:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held on Saturday September 19, 2026 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia at Villa St Joseph for their care and compassion they gave Bessie.
