Bernard J. Zwolski, 81, formerly of Baden, died Sunday August 29, 2021, Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, after a long battle with CHF. Born May 22, 1940, Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Martha Zwolski. Bernie and his sister, Josie, were cared by the Holy Family Institute from age 7 and 6, after their parents deaths. Bernie graduated in 1958 from Northside High School. A lover of life, his passions included civic service, every sport, cigars, golf, bourbon, bowling, beaches, hunting and dancing the jitterbug. Bernie and the love of his life, Sheila, enjoyed a retirement in Florida until Sheila’s passing in 2016. Bernie was a proud member of Masonic Temple in Ambridge, where he served as Worshipful Master. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his half-sister Rita Adamek. Surviving are his children, Sheryl “Sheri” and son-in-law Alfred Keeme Jr., Arizona, Raymond and daughter-in-law Sabrina, Erie, Lisa Oshop and Renay Oshop, both of Boulder, CO, Jennifer Oshop, Arizona, Teresa and Steve Riegle, New Brighton, Lena and David Zickefoose, twelve grandchildren, Chelsea Klein, Torrie Rae, Hailey, Paige, Daymon and Payton Riegle, Chloe, Raeann Butler, Mary and Anthony Keeme, Sheridan and John Oshop, loving sister and brother-in-law, Josephine “Josie” and Joseph Grossi, Florida. Friends will be received Thursday September 2, 2021 from 4:000pm- 7:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES,INC.,1099 Maplewood Ave.,Ambridge. A Blessing Service will follow at 7:00pm in the funeral home. Masonic Lodge #701 of Ambridge, will conduct a service at 6:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Masonic Charities of PA.
