Beatrice B. (Bratton) Kimbrough

Beatrice B. Kimbrough, 90, of Ambridge, died Wednesday October 4, 2023, Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born March 30, 1933, Ambridge, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Roberta “Birdie” Berry Bratton. She was a former member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Leetsdale. She was everyone’s Grandma “BB” at Highland School. She graduated from Hardy Bible School, Pittsburgh and was a devoted follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was also a renowned pianist in the Beaver County area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Kimbrough, three brothers, Henry Jr., Luther and Phillip Bratton, two sisters, Carrie McIver and Georgella Williams and a grandson Phillip “Meyi” Bratton. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Philip Darnell and Pamela Bratton, Ambridge, Otis Sam Smith, Ambridge, Jamal “Mikee” and Kelly Williams, Leetsdale, two daughters, Roberta Wendy Allison, Ambridge, Lucille Candy Williams, Pittsburgh, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Tuesday October 10, 2023 from 10:00am-12:00pm at New Hope Community Church. A service will follow at 12:00pm with Rev Damon Bratton officiating. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery. BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, is in charge of arrangements.
