Barbara (Bobbie) Sovich,84, of Economy, passed away Tuesday October 10, 2023, Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born July 4, 1939, Bridgewater, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude Fortune St John. Together they had two children, Barbara Jean (special friend, Robert Woloshan) and John (Michelle) Sovich. She also helped raise Mike’s two children, stepdaughters, Michelle and Rebecca. She was a woman of strong faith, serving as deacon in the United Presbyterian Church, during her younger years. Bobbie loved the beach and looked forward to family vacations at Rehoboth, Delaware. More than anything, she loved her grandchildren, Bethany, Emma and Luke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike, sister, Ann Clarke and brother, John Pickens. Besides her family, she leaves behind her dear friends, Dee Bohinsky and Linda Woloshan, whom she shared many conversations and laughter. Bobbie had a big heart filled with kindness. She was the phone who always answered, no matter who you were. She loved roses and romance novels. She sang along to Elvis and Christmas carols while baking in the kitchen. A private service will be held with family and close friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Bobbie requested to please consider a donation to St Jude Childrens Research Center or Baden Methodist Church.
