Arthur M. Roppo

In loving memory of our father, Arthur (Arch) Roppo, age 92, who passed away on January 26, 2024. He was the devoted husband for 71 years of LaVonda (Davis) and loving father of Art (Janet) and Ann (the late Howard Guenther). He was the proud grandfather of Angela (Kevin) and Ashley (Chris), as well as great grandfather of Claire, Henry, and Maya. Arthur was predeceased by six siblings and is survived by his sister Beatrice Martin, nieces, nephews and many close friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Arch was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage.

An Army veteran, early in life, our father learned the importance of hard work at Armco Mill and he instilled that same work ethic in us. He was always there for us. He was a man of strong faith.

A celebration of life Catholic Mass will be held on Friday February 2, 2024 at 11:00am at Good Samaritan Church. Luncheon to follow at Good Samaritan Church Hall.
