Ann (Quill) Bartlotti

Ann Bartlotti, 83, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Fair Oaks, died Saturday April 10th in the Myrtle Beach Regional Medical Center. Ann was born August 11, 1937 in Sewickley, PA and was the 3rd of 3 girls born to the late John and Catherine Brown Quill. Ann spent her earlier year in Fair Oaks, PA and was married to the late Joe Sarkis. Ann was a graduate of St. Veronica High School and became a nurse studying at Sewickley Valley Hospital where she worked for many years in the Emergency Department. Ann later became a drug and alcohol counsellor along with being a Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout mother, QV football and band mother and completed the Citizens Police Academy in Myrtle Beach. Ann married Leonard Bartlotti in 1992 and was blessed with a large and wonderful extended family. Ann and Lenny spent 10 wonderful years together before his death in 2002.
Ann was preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary Catherine Montemayor and Jane DeGennaro. Ann also previously lost two children: Denise Marie Sarkis and Joseph Richard Sarkis.
Ann is survived by her son John Sarkis and his wife Theresa of Louisville, KY and 3 grandsons: Joseph Sarkis, Moon, PA, Tyler Sarkis, Atlanta, GA and Nicholas Sarkis, Minneapolis, MN.
Ann was also blessed with three step-daughters Elizabeth Apone and her husband Anthony, Westland, MI, Lenora Maccaglia and her husband Joe, Erie, PA and Gina Bartlotti of McKean, PA: four step-sons Leonard N. Bartlotti and his wife Debi, Springfield, MO, Carl Bartlotti and Jerry Buboltz, Hollywood, FL, Napoleon Bartlotti and his wife Mary, Spanaway, WA, and Raymond Bartlotti and his wife Rhonda of Dallas, TX, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Saturday April 17,2021, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, PA, where a blessing service will be held at noon. Interment will be held at a later date at St James Catholic Cemetery, Sewickley.
