Albert J. “Joe” Flanigan Jr., 75, of Baden, died peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 5, 1947, Sewickley, he was the son of the late Albert J. Sr. and Norma Jean Swain Flanigan. He was a retired journeyman electrician with IBEW Local # 712. He loved spending time at his camp, hunting and fishing. He and Carol went on many traveling adventures. He was a papa to his granddaughters and loved spoiling them. He was also hard working and could fix or build anything and was a US Army Vietnam Era veteran. Surviving are his wife, Carol Demchak Flanigan, two sons and daughters-in-law, Sean and Regina Flanigan, Harmony Twp., Michael and Jessica Flanigan, Economy, five granddaughters, Caitlin, Chloe, Aubrey, Ava, Anna and one on the way, to be named Mia, one brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Deena Flanigan, Arkansas, one sister and brother-in-law, Colleen and Tom Gulish, Raccoon Twp.,. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Terri Pocorus. As per his wishes, there will be no viewing.
