Alan "Nugget" Gilbert

Alan  “ Nugget” Gilbert, 81 passed away peacefully with his wife Karol by his side on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Heritage Valley Beaver. He was born December 4, 1943 in Sewickley & was the son of the late Joseph & Kathryn Senkevich  Gilbert.  He was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist/ Good Samaritan Church, retired from Conrail,

a US Army Veteran, an avid golfer & sports  enthusiast.  Surviving is his wife Karol Stickel Gilbert, son Christopher Gilbert, Aliquippa, daughter and son-in-law Lori & Scott Haberman and granddaughter Amelia Haberman, Arizona. Nieces Sandy ( John)Veltri, West Mifflin, Kathy( Mark) Guthrie, Economy, nephews

Michael( Dottie) Gilbert, South Carolina, Tim Martin, Michael (Julie) Martin,Beaver and two special friends,Frank Sangermano, Vince Pisano and many other dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his first wife,Karen Gilbert,three brothers,Francis,Arther and Joseph “Juju”Gilbert. Friends will be received Friday August 15th, 2025 from 4-6 with blessing service to follow at 6:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICE,INC., 1099 Maplewood Avenue,Ambridge PA. A private interment will take place at Good Samaritan Cemetery.
