Thomas R. Stuby, 69, of Center Twp., died Friday evening, May 18, 2018, at Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born January 2, 1949, in Rochester, Pa., a son of the late Chester and Antoinette (Pattenato) Stuby, he was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Hopewell Twp. He had attended Edinboro University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in education. His passion was cooking and canning. He had attended Culinary School in Pittsburgh, Pa., and had owned and operated an Italian Restaurant in Aliquippa by the name of Tomaso’s. He was employed by Giant Eagle Market District, Moon Twp. Surviving are his wife, Judy (Smith) Stuby; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas A. and Jenaya Stuby, and Eric and Laurie Stuby, all of Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren, Devin, Anthony, Ryder and Hailey Stuby; two brothers and a sister-in-law, David Stuby, Aliquippa and Joseph (Deborah) Stuby, New Jersey; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Rosetta (David) Fox, Andover, Ohio, and Anna Stuby, Chippewa Twp.; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
