Samuel A. Carioli

Samuel A. Carioli, 97, of Ambridge, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, in Providence Health Care. Born June 7, 1921, in Sewickley, a son of the late Oreste and Maria Furguiele Carioli, he was retired from the American Bridge Company, a member of the Good Samaritan Church, and a U.S. Army World War II veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Flinko Carioli, on September 10, 2014, and a brother, Frank “Chicko” Carioli. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Margie and George Clark, Hopewell Twp., and a nephew, Rusty (Cindy) Carioli, Pittsburgh. Friends will be received Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Friday at 11 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. in Good Samaritan Church. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at 1 p.m. at the cemetery to provide full military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence Health Care.
