Phyllis Helen Palmer Formerly of Economy Borough Phyllis Helen Palmer, 90, formerly of Economy Borough, died on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at her home at Augsburg Village in Baltimore, Maryland. Born August 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Rosemeier and Helen Helebrand Rosemeier. A graduate of St. Veronica High School, she lived on Frederick Drive from 1960 until 1986. Phyllis enjoyed working in the retail industry, and had administrative positions locally with J.C. Penney, Sears, and Zayre. The devoted wife of George T. Palmer, the couple moved to Plant City, Florida in 1986. After her husband’s passing in 1990, she moved to Cocoa Beach, Florida, then to Centreville, Virginia, and finally to Baltimore, Md., in 2015. She is survived by her son, Mark D. Palmer of Baltimore, Md. She was preceded in death by her elder son, George M. Palmer, and also by her siblings, Joan Ingros, Loretta Olesky, Edward “Bud” Rosemeier, and George Rosemeier. Friends will be received Tuesday, November 5, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. in BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Good Samaritan Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.
