Norma G. (Rosenbauer) Wanchik

Norma G. “Mort” Wanchik, 92, of Economy Borough died on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Brighton Rehab. Born May 15, 1926, in Economy Borough, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Grace Whiteman Rosenbauer. She was a member of the Rehoboth Evangelical Lutheran Church, the church choir; the 55 plus club at the church and the ABC card club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wanchik on November 4, 2008, and two brothers, Stanley and Chester Rosenbauer. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Denise Wanchik, Baden; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Lee and Steven Vezina, East Hampton, Conn.; five grandchildren, Stacey Vezina, (Colt Cormier), Steven (Agata) Vezina, Justin (Marissa) Wanchik, Jonathan Wanchik and Sara Shelkons and Nikki (Neil) Fitzgerald; two great grandchildren, Braden and Juliana Wanchik; and a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Elaine Rosenbauer, Brighton Twp. Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. at the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, with pastor Susan Irons, officiating. Interment will follow at Rehoboth Cemetery.
