Mafalda (Pisano) Stone

Mafalda “Babe” Stone, 92, of Pittsburgh, died Monday, November 20, 2017, in Kane Regional Center, Scott Twp.

Born August 28, 1925, in Ambridge, she was a daughter of late Nicholas and Turina Cola Pisano.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Barbara Stone, Mountain Side, N.J.; a daughter, Deborah Davies, Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Norma Cimino, Ambridge; her companion for many years, Peter McCann, South Hills, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Grimenstein; a grandson, Anthony Pascale, five sisters, and six brothers.

There will be no viewing. A celebration of life and memorial service will be held at a later date.

BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, is in charge of arrangements.
