John Yeznick

John Yeznick, 101, of Ambridge, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born February 14, 1917, in Sewickley, a son of the late John and Bessie Batz Yeznick, he was retired from J&L Steel, a member of the UNA and was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. Surviving are his beloved nephew with whom he resided, John Stashick; three sisters, Anne Zielinski and Betty Francis, both of Baden, and Olga Bokulic and Al Mendicino, Sewickley, and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Michael, Nicholas and Joseph Yeznick, and two sisters, Catherine Parada and Stella M. Stashick. Private family viewing and service was held Wednesday, August 1, 2018, in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Interment followed in Economy Cemetery.
