John L. Moss

John L. Moss Baden John L. Moss, 76 of Baden, died Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born December 11, 1942, in Sewickley, he was the son of the late John and Mary Susan Curtis Moss. He was retired from J&L Steel and was a school bus driver for Quaker Valley School District. John was a member of St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Baden. Surviving are his wife, Doretta Cottage Moss; one daughter and son-in-law, Marianne and Greg Dugan, Chippewa Twp.; one brother, Fr. Darius Moss, Millersburg, Pa.; two sisters, Susan Jeter, Aliquippa and Cora Jane Gohde, Ky; three grandchildren, Josh (Leah), Ryan and Ethan and four special cousins, Arnold Gradek, Melvin Rizzo, Adam Gradek and Buzzy Gradek; In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John L. Moss Jr. in 2004. Friends will be received on Sunday, June 30, 2019, from 2 to 8 p.m. at BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Baden. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
