John J. Detz

John J. Detz, 90, of Baden, died Friday, October 6, 2017, at home.

Born July 18, 1927, in Ambridge, he was a son of the late John and Rose Kopylac Detz. He was retired from Armco Steel and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Lucille Blishak Detz; one son, Richard Detz, Darlington; two daughters and a son-in-law, Laura DeLuigi, Baden and Diane and Bob Gulish, Far Oaks; ten grandchildren, Gary, Christopher, Andrew, Natalie, Jenette, Alycia, Ashley, Angela, Michael and Zachary; and 17 great-grandchildren.

There will be no viewing.

The BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, is in charge of arrangements.
