James F. McCullough, 80, of Land O Lakes, Florida, peacefully passed away on December 7, 2018. He was born to Cornelius and Barbara McCullough on February 25, 1938, in Rochester, Pa. He was drafted and served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer in the Republic of Korea. His patriotism and commitment to duty inspired the U.S. Army service of three of his grandsons. He worked for 42 years as a bridge construction superintendent for the Brayman Corporation. He founded the McCullough Concrete Sawing Corp and was the president for eight years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia B. McCullough; son, Daniel (Mimi) McCullough of Davie, Florida; daughter, Lynn Ann Hengoed of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Ryan, Grace, Patrick, Brendan, Adam and Noah; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters; and four brothers. He was preceded in death by his son, James P. McCullough and sister, Rose Berton. Jim had a deep love for his country and loved all Pittsburgh sports teams and Notre Dame football. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Land O Lakes, Fla., on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 10 a.m. Family and friends will be received Thursday, December 20, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m. at BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. An additional Mass will take place at St. Veronica Church, Ambridge, Pa., on December 21, 2018, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Good Samaritan Catholic Cemetery.
