James F. DeVincent

James F. DeVincent, 93, of Ambridge, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at home. Born May 27, 1925, in Sewickley, a son of the late John and Mary Cahalan DeVincent. He was retired from the Local #47, a member of Good Samaritan Church and was a U.S. Navy Seals, World War II Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine A. (Hodovans) DeVincent and two brothers, Chester and Joseph DeVincent. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Beth DeVincent and Alan Quel of Ambridge; a special niece, Janet Hogan of Ambridge and many other nieces and nephews. A private a family viewing was held on Friday, March 15, 2019, at the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Interment will take place in Good Samaritan Cemetery. Donations can be made if desired to Gallagher Hospice Foundation, 1370 Washington Pike, Suite 401B, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
