Howard “Bob” Boros, 87, of Baden, died Monday, May 14, 2018, in Concordia at Villa St. Joseph. Born July 10, 1930, in Ambridge, a son of the late Joseph and Mary Dupin Boros, he was retired from Armco with 35 years of service and was a member of the Men’s (Joint) Club, Ambridge. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Surviving are his wife, Nancy; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Misty Boros, Baden; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Thomas Hurkmanns, and four grandchildren, Payton Boros, and Andres, Samuel and Jacob Hurkmanns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Boros, and three sisters, Wilma “Mitzi” Choroszewski, Mildred “Mickey” Giammaria and Agnes Drauch. A private family viewing and service was held Wednesday in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Private entombment followed in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Concordia at Villa St. Joseph for their compassionate care they gave Bob.
