Hettie ‘Marie’ Passmore Economy Borough Hettie ‘Marie’ Passmore, 87, of Economy Borough, died Sunday, August 18, 2019, at UPMC Cranberry Place. Born March 17, 1932, in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Joseph M. and Elizabeth Knowles Workman. She held various jobs, one of which was a professional horse trainer. She was a member of CFU Lodge and the Women of the Moose. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Catherine Passmore, Lebanon Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jeffery Markvan, Economy Borough; six grandchildren, Melinda, Michael, Mary, Alan, Joshua and Catherine; five great grandchildren and one sister, Emily Lantz, Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special friend, Walter Hendrickson; one son, Michael Passmore; one daughter, Eleanor Passmore; three brothers, Bill, Jim and Joe Workman and three sisters, Betty, Barbara and Peggy. There will be no viewing and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, entrusted with arrangements.
