Helen A. (Gavalya) Mosura

Helen A. Mosura, 87, of Ambridge, died Friday, August 31, 2018, in Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born August 8, 1931, in West Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Gavalya, she was a lifetime member of the Ambridge VFW Women’s Auxiliary, where she served as a past president. She also worked many fish fries, alongside her husband, for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Mosura Jr., on February 14, 2013; two brothers, Joseph and john Gavalya, and a sister, Margaret Rebovich. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, John Mosura III and his wife Dixie, Moon Twp., and Robert Mosura, Harmony Twp.; a daughter, Teresa Deutsch, Ambridge; five grandchildren, Desiree Mosura, Cambridge Springs, Pa.; Deandra Mosura, Hershey, Pa.; Jamie Gorman and Patricia Gorman, both of Baden, and Lucas Deutsch, Ambridge, and a great-grandson, Malachi Kirsop, Baden. Friends will be received Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave.,
