Genevieve L. (Cottage) Metelsky

Genevieve L. ‘Ginger’ Metelsky Baden Genevieve L. ‘Ginger’ Metelsky, 87, of Baden, died Saturday evening, August 24, 2019, at Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born December 12, 1931, in Glenfield Pa., a daughter of the late Anthony and Leona Kozumplik Cottage. She was a member of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Metelsky, Jr., 2003; a daughter, Diane Metelsky, 1960; six brothers and four sisters. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Susan, Metelsky, New Brighton; a daughter, Linda Metelsky, Baden; three grandchildren, Amy Metelsky and Ashlee Reed, Chicago Ill., Daniel and Ashley Metelsky, Economy Borough and Julia Metelsky and Chris Laychak, Pittsburgh and her beloved dog, Max Friends will be received Wednesday, August 28, 2019, from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, with the Very Reverend Father William Evansky officiating. Interment will follow at Sylvania Memorial Park.
