Ethel R. (Seymour) Luther

Ethel R. Luther, 92, of Hopewell Twp., died Friday, May 26, 2017, in the Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver.

Born September 29, 1924, in Ashville, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Theresa Basil Seymour. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and the Hopewell VFW.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond H. Luther, on August 29, 2013; a son, James Luther, and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Jacqueline Luther, Hopewell Twp. and Edmond H. Jr. and Diane Luther, Monaca; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Jay Folkens, Hopewell Twp.; twin daughter, Janet and Kenny Knight, Midland; twin daughter, Jeanette and Larry Durbin, Monaca; one sister, Vesta Milne, Glenwillard; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a blessing service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.

Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
