Elsie L. Ustan Formerly of Economy Borough Elsie L. Ustan, 92, formerly of Economy Borough, died Friday, February 1, 2019, in Willow Lane, McKees Rocks. Born September 25, 1926, in Ambridge, a daughter of the late Peter and Victoria Rengowski, she was a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church, a member of the Sisterhood of the church and was also a pierogi worker. She was a dear, sweet, kind-hearted woman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Ustan, on January 25, 2006, and two brothers, Anthony and Harry Rengowski. Surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Ludwico, Kennedy Twp.; Bette Plesh, Hopewell Twp.; two nieces, Barbara and Alison; one nephew, Robert; two great-nieces, Nicole and Sydney; one great-nephew, Joshua; and a special cousin, Bo Stone. Friends will be received Tuesday from 3 p.m. until time of Parastas service at 6:30 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, Translation of the body to follow to St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Additional viewing will be held Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. at the church, with the Very Rev. Father Michael Kochis officiating. A private interment will follow in Economy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
