Edward G. Mahr

Edward G. Mahr Moon Township Edward G. Mahr, 90, of Moon Twp., died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at UPMC Cranberry. Born November 24, 1928, in McKees Rocks, he was a son of the late Joseph and Theresa Nestleberger Mahr. He was retired from Pittsburgh Forgings. He was a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church and was a U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Isabella Sposaro Mahr in 2000; three brothers, Joseph, John and Albert Mahr and two sisters, Theresa Schurer and Margaret Padgelek. Surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Good Samaritan Church Interment will follow at Good Samaritan Cemetery.
