Charles Trautman Economy Borough Charles Trautman, 78, of Economy Borough died Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Allegheny General Hospital. Born May 5, 1940, in Sewickley, the son of the late Richard and Rosina Trautman. Chuck retired from J&L as a mechanic. He was a respected owner of Trautman Auto in Economy, a local “Pop” garage where people stopped by to shoot the breeze, whether their cars were being fixed or not. He had a reputation for fair prices and honesty. Chuck also enjoyed bowling two days a week, and in the summer puttering around in his yard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia E. Trautman on September 9, 2018. Surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Karen Trautman, Ambridge and George and Rosemary Trautman Patterson Twp.; one sister, Pat Celeste, Freedom and two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Pete Sovich, Ambridge and Paul and Debbie Sovich, Economy Friends will be received Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Good Samitran Church. Interment will follow at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Beaver County Humane Society, Our Lady of Peace Memorial Fund or OLOP St. Crispin Fund.
