Anna Marie Cassidy, 80, of Ambridge, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born August 6, 1937, in Sewickley, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Bitcko Thames, she was retired from Do It Best Hardware and was a member of the Good Samaritan Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Cassidy, on May 28, 2017; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Cassidy, and a brother, Michael Thames. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Karen Cassidy, Independence Twp.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Bob Douds, Michaelene and Steve McGaughey, all of Economy, and Diana and Scott McCall, Ambridge; 11 grandchildren, Bridget and her husband Bill Grimm, Alyssa Douds, Shawn and his wife Abby McCall, Matthew and Cody McCall, Tim, Sarah and Renea Cassidy, and Steve, Kristy and Jeffrey McGaughey, and five great-grandchildren, Noah, Eddie (Johnston) and Connor McCall, and Ashlee and Tyler Grimm. Friends will be received Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, and In Home Care Givers, and also Jen and Vickie, for the care they gave Anna Marie.
