Shirley G. Hlaris

Shirley G. Hlaris, 85, formerly of Ambridge, died Monday, August 10, 2015, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.

Born July 6, 1930, in Sewickley, she was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Ambridge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hlaris, March 4, 2000; a daughter, Judy Cunnard, 2013; a granddaughter, Tammy Cunnard, 2014, and a grandson, David Cunnard, 1984.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Nadine Hlaris, Ambridge; two daughters, Lynnda Hlaris, Phoenix, AZ and Sandra Vanyo, Ambridge; four grandchildren, Melissa Hayes, Eric and his wife Ashley Vanyo, Dana and her husband Ryan Hallisey, and Logan Harris; six great-grandchildren, Bethany, Caleb, Heather, Erika, Andy, and Liam, and three great-great-grandchildren, Kaden, Malley, and Mason.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. John Dickey officiating.

Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
