Ronald P. Martin

Ronald P. Martin, 81, of Harmony Twp. died Saturday, June 11, 2016, at home.

Born March 17, 1935, in Sewickley, a son of the late Andrew and Pauline Karasek Martin, he worked at Wykoff Steel and Armco and retired from Local 833 Laborer's Union. He was a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church, and was a U.S. Marine Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Baden American Legion, the Ambridge District Sportsmen's Club and many other clubs and associations. Ronald also liked to fish, hunt, paint and draw.

Surviving are his wife, Beatrice (Roppo) Martin; four sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Debbie Martin, Daniel and Lisa Martin, Dale and Michelle Martin, and Darrell and MaiLynn Martin; two daughters and a son-in-law, Diane and Rob Gregory and Dawn Martin; one sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and John Navalance; 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ronald John Martin in 1958.

There will be no viewing.

A memorial mass will be held Monday, June 20, at 9:30 a.m. in Good Samaritan Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery.

The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at 10:45 a.m. at the cemetery to provide full military honors.

The BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, is in charge of arrangements.
