Robert Katich

Robert Katich, III, 52, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016, in Charlotte, NC.

Born February 19, 1964, in Alliance, OH, son of Robert Katich Jr., Minerva, OH and the late Barbara A. Beagle Katich, he was a mechanic for USAirways for 26 years and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Sharon Hustead Katich; two sons, Ronny Katich, New York and Joseph Katich, Alabama; one daughter and son-in-law, Nikita and Adam Blackwood, Aliquippa; a stepson, Joseph Ludovici, Beaver Falls; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Teresa and Ron Daugherty, Ohio; Melody Katich, Minerva, OH; his mother-in-law, Mary Hustead, Ambridge. He was also blessed to have four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016, at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Matthew Klenk officiating.

Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.

The Beaver County Special Unit will meet Friday at 6 pm. in the funeral home to provide full military honors.

Bob was a wonderful, loving man who cared about everyone. He will be missed by family and friends. Love you forever, Babe!
