Philip Ewanko

Philip Ewanko Jr., 50, of Bell Acres, died Monday, December 11, 2017, in Family Hospice Palliative Care, Pittsburgh.

Born February 25, 1967, in Coraopolis, he was a son of Bernice Sines Ewanko, of Bell Acres, and the late Philip Ewanko Sr. He was a member of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church; a councilman for Bell Acres Borough for 16 years, and was with the Bell Acre Fire Core. He was the head of the Bell Acres Picnic for many years.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Hosea Ewanko, Bell Acres.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. The Very Rev. Father William Evansky will officiate.

Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.
