Michael J. Tavernaris

Michael J. Tavernaris, 45, of Rochester, died Friday, September 16, 2016.

Born October 16, 1970, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Mary Clark Tavernaris of Rochester and the late Marion N. "Pete" Tavernaris. He was employed by Kesten Pured Walls Inc. and was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in Desert Storm.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a son, Nicholas John Tavernaris, Rochester; two daughters, Kristen M. Tavernaris, Sewickley, and Erica Lynn Tavernaris, Ambridge; the mother of his children, Rachael Erdlen, Ambridge; a brother, John, and three sisters, Nikki, Gale and Jodi.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. The Rev. Bert Domineck will officiate.
