Mary G. (Kasnic) Strella

Mary G. Strella, 97, formerly of Economy Borough, died Friday, December 30, 2016, in Caring Heights, Coraopolis.

Born August 22, 1919, in Baden, a daughter of the late Frank and Barbara Kasnic, she was a member of the former Divine Redeemer Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Strella, 1974, and three brothers, Louis, Joseph and George Kasnic.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Carla Strella, Chippewa Twp.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Elizabeth Helbling, Coraopolis, and Margaret and Barry MacKinnon, New Wilmington; three grandchildren, Barbara Alsko and her husband, Chris Winters, Mt. Lebanon; Melanie and her husband Mark DelDuca, Evans City, and Thomas J. and his wife Amanda Strella, New Galilee, and four great-grandchildren, Ella, Dakota, Hunter, and Mark.

Friends will be received Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in Good Samaritan Church.

Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery.
