Mary A. (Foy) Carey

Mary A. Carey Formerly of Ambridge Mary A. Carey, 106, formerly of Ambridge, died Sunday, February 11, 2018, in Pembroke Pines, Fla. Born April 9, 1911, in Atlantic City, N.J., a daughter of the late James and Mary Foy, she was a member of the former St. Veronica Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Carey, in 1982, and two sons, Jack and Brian Carey. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Mary M. “Peggy” and Timothy McCarthy, Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Lorraine Davies, Barbi Zehnder, Mary Pat McCarthy and Tim McCarthy; eight great-grandchildren, Cara, Bryce, Carey, Kayla, Patrick, Tim, Maggie and Sean; a great-great-grandson, Jack Carey Zehnder, and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Carey, Ambridge. Friends will be received Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A Mass of Christian burial will follow Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh
