Margaret J. (Baranich) Spolarich

Margaret J. Spolarich, 89, formerly of Baden, died Wednesday, February 20, 2017, in South Carolina.

Born March 26, 1927, in Punxsutawney, Pa., a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Santillo Baranich, she was a member of the Good Samaritan Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. "Chippy" Spolarich, on August 15, 1987; a grandson, Michael J. Spolarich III; six brothers, Charles, John, George, Michael, Andrew and Paul Baranich, and three sisters, Ann Russo, Mary and Helen Baranich.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael J. and Marsha Spolarich, Columbia, SC, and Gary and Paula Spolarich, Melina, Ohio, and four grandchildren, Melissa A., Nicholas, Christopher and Gary M. Jr. Spolarich.

Friends will be received Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of prayer service at 10:30 a.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A Mass of Christian burial will follow Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in her name, to the Good Samaritan Church.
