Linda A. Byers

Linda A. Byers, 61, formerly of Ambridge, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 in St. John Lutheran Care Center, Mars.


Born Feb. 4, 1953, in Sewickley, a daughter of the late Milan and Ann Rose Mihovich Buncy, she was retired from The Medical Center, Beaver. Linda's daughters, Michelle and Julie, were truly devoted to taking care of their mother for many years.


Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Michelle Haley, Beaver and Julie and Herb Saturley, Economy; four grandchildren, Brandon and Marissa Saturley, and Eugene and Logan Haley; one devoted brother, James Buncy, Ambridge; one sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Jesse Diaz, California; a special cousin, Sandra Veltri.


Friends will be received Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in the Good Samaritan Church. Interment will take place at Good Samaritan Cemetery, at a later date.
