Joseph N. Petrina

Joseph N. Petrina Sr., 86, of Ambridge, died Thursday, April 20, 2017, in Heritage Valley Sewickley.

Born October 2, 1930, in Sewickley, a son of the late Nicholas and Mary Petrina, he was retired from the American Bridge Company and was a member of the Good Samaritan Parish.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Antonette "Toni" Grace Petrina, on August 25, 2006; a son, Joseph N. "Butch" Petrina Jr., on March 9, 2016; a granddaughter, Melissa Price; a brother, and four sisters.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James and Deborah Petrina, Plant City, Fla.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Juanita and James DiNuno, Ambridge, and Melanie Price and Vince Prentice, Ambridge; 11 grandchildren, Annette Maravich, Nathan Petrina, James "JP" Petrina, Julian Petrina, Krystal Price, Chad Price, David "Vito" Petrina, Kelly Petrina, Katlynn DiNuno, Camren Hewitt and Vivian Hewitt; eight great-grandchildren, Ava Fleming, Aaiden DiNuno, Gunner James Petrina, Tanner Petrina, Easton Joseph Price, Allison Petrina, Addison Petrina and Logan Petrina, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Monday at 12:30 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 1 p.m. in Good Samaritan Church.

Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Laughlin Memorial Library, Ambridge.
