Janice G. McCoy, 72, of Ambridge, died Monday, May 16, 2016, at home.
Born June 27, 1943, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Visokey, she was retired as a CNA from D.T. Watson and the Masonic Village. She was a die-hard Pirates and Steelers fan. She was a member of the Ambridge Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and also the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Gerald "Duke" McCoy; two sons and daughters-in-law, Pete and Sherry Samovoski, Wintersville, OH, and William and Tracy McCoy, Freedom; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Arlene Fitzgerald, Clinton; Kathlene and Mark Arnold, Las Vegas, NV; Joyce and Jeff Ervin, Forest, VA; Darlene "Dee" and Ronald Anderson, Las Vegas, and Susan Domenick, Freedom; two brothers, Artie Visokey in PA and Norman "Lefty" Visokey in TX, and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Norma Mesko, and Nancy and Eugene Pugh, all of Baden.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Friday at 12:30 p.m., with Bishop Paul McCoy officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
The Ambridge Eagles Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a service Thursday at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
