Janet M. (Jarostowski) Kopiec

Janet M. Kopiec, 64, of Slippery Rock Township, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, in Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Nov. 7, 1950, in Ambridge, a daughter of Ann Petula Jarostowski of Slippery Rock Township and the late John Jarostowski, she was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ambridge, where she had worked in the pierogi kitchen. She retired from The Allegheny Co. Port Authority.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Kopiec Jr.; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Vivian Jarostowski; a sister, Darlene and Noel Skapik, all of Ambridge.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral and Mass on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at 10 a.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ambridge. Rev. Father Michael Polosky, he pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Economy Borough.
