Jeanie and Carol, I grew up in Ambridge at Holy Ghost and, although I've been away for decades, I remember your parents very well. Both were outstanding people, albeit in different ways. Your mom was always the most accomplished, gracious and charming woman--and what a cook and baker! I remember her fondly. May her memory be eternal.

Jeanie and Carol, a real gem has passed this earth. But you already knew that. Helen was my idol as a child. She always wore that chic-est head wear--as did her sister, Ann, and was the nicest at church, even to a snotty brat like myself. Soft-spoken and ladylike at all times, she was the perfect foil for her gregarious husband, whom I also loved, and rarely shed her gentleness. And rarely did she show her steely, outspoken side ,She conquered cancer at a time when not too many were doing so. For these many reasons I will remember her.
