Gus T. Skeriotis, 81, of Hopewell Twp., died Wednesday, November 25, 2015, in his home.
Born Aug. 23, 1934, in Chios, Greece, the son of the late Theodore and Kalliopi Yialouris Skeriotis, he had owned the Majestic Laundry and Cleaning Center, Ambridge. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Ambridge.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pauline Sculucas Skeriotis; four sons, Theodore Skeriotis, Steven Skeriotis, James Skeriotis and Thaddeus Skeriotis, all of Hopewell Twp.; two daughters, JoAnna Skeriotis and her fiancé, Michael Costanzo, Fox Chapel, and Patricia Skeriotis, California; a sister, Mary Menis and her husband, Captain Stilianos Menis, Ambridge; eight grandchildren, Augustus Joseph Skeriotis, Christopher Skeriotis, Maria Skeriotis, and Desirae Skeriotis, all of Hopewell Twp.; Demitria Skeriotis and his wife, Shanna, Pittsburgh; Kosta Taylor, Pittsburgh; Anna Paulina Weatherford, and her husband Chad, Winston Salem, NC, and Jordan Gabriel Taylor, Beaver and four great-grandchildren, Jayde Constantina Taylor, Isabella Victoria Taylor, Ava Nicole Taylor and Yianni Grazziano.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a baby girl, Kelly Rose Skeriotis and a brother, Thomas Skeriotis.
Friends will be received Friday, Nov. 27, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Addition viewing will be held Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Ambridge, with the Rev. Father Emmanuel Lillios, his pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.
A trisagian service will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
