Frank J. Rosenberger, 97, of Harmony Twp., died Sunday, August 14, 2016, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.
Born April 13, 1919, in Ambridge, a son of the late Frank and Mary (Florjancic) Rosenberger, he retired in 1981 with 44 years of service with the American Bridge Company. He was a member of the Good Samaritan Church and was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran with the Pacific Fleet.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes A. Rosenberger, on December 19, 2008; a sister, Marie "Mitzi" Anderson, and a daughter-in-law, Carolina Rosenberger.
Surviving are a son, Frank J. Rosenberger II, Ambridge; two grandsons, Frank J. Rosenberger III and his wife Pauline, Harmony Twp., and Benjamin E. Rosenberger and Megan, Butler; six great-grandchildren; a special and caring nephew, Leonard Anderson, Alexandria, VA, and many other nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. in the Good Samaritan Church.
Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.
The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at 12:45 p.m. at the cemetery to provide full military honors
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice.
The family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice for the care they gave Frank.
