Eugene Metelsky

Eugene Metelsky Economy Boro Eugene Metelsky, 80, of Economy Boro, died Sunday, January 28, 2018, in the Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born April 12, 1937, in Hawk Run, Pa., he was the son of the late Samuel and Julia Harmotta Metelsky. He was retired from Senior Conflow. He was a member of the Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, the Conway Sportsman’s Club, and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife, Mildred Towcimak Metelsky, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Sam, Jack, George and Raymond Metelsky, and one sister, Dorothy Metelsky. Friends will be received Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, with the Very Rev. Father William Evansky officiating.
